Histoires De Parfums Moulin Rouge Fragrance Review
I love everything about Moulin Rouge and I enjoy wearing this powdery, fresh fragrance. Days that I want something simple I grab for Moulin Rouge from Histoires De Parfums. I know that some men might find Moulin Rouge a bit challenging to wear as it does come off feminine but once you get past that you might enjoy it. Just think of the powdery qualities of Dior Homme Intense? Histoires de Parfums Moulin Rouge has the same dominant iris note that’s in Dior Homme Intense but they both go into different directions.
Histoires de Parfums Moulin Rouge 1189 captures the Moulin Rouge in a bottle. Just give it a sniff you’ll see what I mean!
Wow, this fragrance feels so damn rushed. Why? Why Karl Lagerfeld would you even put your damn name on this disappointing fragrance? You are an icon and trendsetter but not with your latest fragrance?
Those of you that are intrigued and are interested in sniffing the new Karl Lagerfeld do it then sniff Azzaro Chrome and smell the comparisons of the two as they are very similar. You might end up saving some money on this disappointing fragrance!
Karl Lagerfeld For Him feels like a rushed fragrance it smells like every other department store fragrance for men. Check it out as you’ll know what I mean! 🙂
Wish Upon A Star by Sebastiane is the fourth fragrance that I sniffed from the collection of Indie fragrances by created by Robert Elder. This one is another grass scent but this has other notes in it like anise and magnolia. This might come off a bit similar to Immortal Meadow but they are slightly bit different. Might sniff both to see which you like better or if you like both get both fragrances. My favorite so far is Espresso Royale and I enjoyed the coffee gourmand qualities of that fragrance along with this and Immortal Meadow.
Last and final video for Black Magic coming up very soon, so stay tuned for that video.
This is a complete blind first impressions of Urban Legend by Sebastiane fragrances. I was excited about this fragrance especially since it has orange blossom and ginger. But out of the three fragrances from Sebastiane Perfumes so far this is my least favorite. For some reason the notes didn’t work well for me but who knows this would work much better with someone else.
I’m usually a huge fan of anything orange blossom and I generally love anything with ginger but for some reason these notes along with the vanilla note didn’t work very well with me. It’s a good scent but you don’t end up loving everything you smell and this is one of them. Urban Legend also has a very classic vibe as well. Came off a bit like an older fragrance perhaps the name has something to do with it? Who knows but if you like the notes in this perhaps you should check out Urban Legend by Sebastiane.
Some of my favorite orange blossom and ginger scents are at the link below.
I chose to review Immortal Meadow second from Sebastian’es fragrances because I liked the notes the most just after Espresso Royale. The notes for Espresso Royale seemed the most exciting to me and I chose to review that first. But Immortal Meadow is all about fruity grass notes fragrance. The fruity notes come from the blackberry in the fragrance. It does start off fruitier and as it dries down it becomes less and less fruity. I like it less fruity as I am not much of a fruity fragrance lover or fan.
I am quickly reminded of Paul Smith for me upon initial spray before it becomes fruity. I enjoyed wearing Paul Smith for men as it was all about green grass a very groundbreaking scent to me when I first bought it. Now I wear Bond No. 9’s High Line and I do love that one. And Immortal Meadow is one I would add to my collection if I want another grassy scent.
Dior Fahrenheit Le Parfum was a very exciting fragrance purchase for me. It’s a very vanilla dominant and boozy fragrance with the DNA of the original Dior Fahrenheit but with a more comforting delicious take on the original Fahrenheit EDT. Gone are the harsh gasoline and rubber notes that were in the original EDT from the 1980s and now you have a very pleasant potent scent which comes off very syrupy.
After several test wearings of Dior Fahrenheit Le Parfum I’ve come to a conclusion with this fragrance. It’s a great scent as I said but it’s performance is another thing. It’s not great which is a bummer. Find out by watching my Dior Fahrenheit Le Parfum Fragrance Review to see what it’s faults are.
This is my Dior Homme Eau Fragrance Review. I was very excited about this new fragrance release called Dior Homme Eau by Christian Dior. Since I had just discovered Dior Homme Intense and fell in love with it instantly I had to try and perhaps purchase Dior Homme Eau. Macy’s is marketing the heck out of Dior Homme Eau and each time I entered Macy’s I was approached by the sales associates to try the new Dior Homme Eau. Mind you I don’t shop at Macy’s that frequently but I go in because I use the USPS inside the Macy’s here in San Francisco.
I tried Dior Homme Eau at Macy’s and thought this is pretty similar to Dior Homme Intense which I own or even perhaps a bit more like Dior Homme which I have smelled but do not own. I decided to go ahead and do a purchase of Dior Homme Eau. Unfortunately once I started wearing it I started noticing marine or sea notes come through with this fragrance. And I’m not really a big fan of marine or sea notes in fragrances. The good thing is Dior Homme Eau comes off like a watered down version of the Dior Homme Intense that I have. And every so often you do get those marine notes but the disappointing thing about Dior Homme Eau is that it dries down to a boring everyday average fragrance that you can pick up for cheap at the drugstore. Nothing to write home about here it’s plan Jane. If you have a chance to sniff out the whole line from Dior of the Dior Hommes do so if this is the only Dior Homme flanker you can get then this might do you just fine but I think Dior Homme Intense is the king of the Dior Homme’s in my opinion. The drydown in Dior Homme Eau loses all the iris and becomes this boring old generic fragrance that you can find in a lot of boring generic fragrances. This is nothing to write home about and is a disappointment! 🙁
Dior Leather Oud from the Dior Priveee Collection is such a complicated and controversial fragrance so I had to really stop and think about it before reviewing this fragrances. It’s very tough to wear also as I have to really think about my whole day before putting it on because I get reactions from folks that are not all positive.
If you do not know about Dior Leather Oud then you must because the dominant note in it is Civet. If you do not know what Civet is then watch video to find out more. If you know Civet you either like it or hate it.
What do I think about Dior Leather Oud? Watch video to find out. For a quality fragrance Dior Leather Oud rocks it’s one of the best but smell wise??? Watch to find out now!
Sisley Sisley Eau d’Ikar is one of those rare citrus fragrances that’s resinous and powdery at the same time. A very unique fragrance with hints of the Mediterranean all throughout as it utilizes the Mediterranean landscape for the notes that compose this fragrance. This is the second fragrance now from Sisley that’s wowed me and I’m starting to fall in love with this brand.
Sisley Eau d’Ikar is perfect for summer time wear but deep and rich enough to pull off by wearing in the spring and fall too. It’s dominant note is the mastic resin native to the Mediterranean.
