Why I’m Getting Rid Of My Bergamotto Marino by Gianfranco Ferre
Oh yeah! Simply put it sucks in performance! I can use a 10 dollar cologne called 4711 for the performance I get because they are comparable. Also I don’t care for the melony salty marine or aquatic accord in this fragrance. So this is the reason I’m getting rid of Bergamotto Marino.
So you tell me! Did I screw up? I think I did good. There are a lot of other fragrances in the same category that perform much better. Try Mugler Cologne by Thierry Mugler or 4711 by Mäurer & Wirtz. If you double the price you can even bump up to Eau d’Hadrien by Annick Goutal for a real nice sharp citrus scent perfect for hot humid weather!!
What a masterpiece is Portrait of a Lady by Frederic Malle. It’s truly one of the best rose based scents that I own and the cool unique thing about Portrait of a Lady by Frederic Malle is that it’s not too rosey of a rose scent.
Frederic Malle Portrait Of A Lady has just the right amount of incense, patchouli, cloves and cinnamon with the rose that it makes it a spicy, warm and beautiful Oriental perfume. Even though Portrait Of A Lady by Frederic Malle is targeted to women I think it’s unisex enough to be worn by men. Portrait Of A Lady uses the most beautiful Turkish roses to create this masterpiece of a perfume. Portrait of a Lady is very high quality and very expensive but don’t pass this perfume off as a feminine rose dominant perfume it’s very masculine in fact I believe it should be targeted unisex but we can’t help that now.
