I immediately liked the idea of Whiskey so I ordered Whiskey blind and I’m pleasantly satisfied with what I got. And can’t wait to order more from Commodity Goods.

Valentino has released an excellent fragrance and it’s called Valentino Uomo! The bottle for Valentino Uomo is quite beautiful and the scent is a beautiful almost gourmand warm and sweet scent. I specifically bought Valentino Uomo because of the gift set available at Nordstrom’s. Luckily I had extra gifts that came with my set which made it a lot more appealing to purchase. See the Valentino Uomo Unboxing And First Impressions video here to see which gifts I received with my purchase of the Valentino Uomo gift set.
Xerjoff Casamorati Lira 1888 Unboxing And First Impressions
This is my very first bottle of one of the most expensive fragrances I have ever bought and so far so good. Well I’m very very impressed with Xerjoff fragrances so far. The packaging is awesome. The bottle rocks even though it’s a bit gaudy! Lira smells great, I love it. I’m like a kid in a candy shop here and opening up a fragrances that I’ve been anticipating for a long time. And this Xerjoff literally smells like candy, sweets so it was a perfect unboxing. Watch the video to find out more.
Imaginary Authors Falling Into The Sea Fragrance Review
Falling Into The Sea is the second fragrance review from the Imaginary Authors collection of fragrances. I thought the notes sounded the second best in this Imaginary Authors collection so I decided to review Falling Into The Sea next.
Falling Into The Sea smells great but it’s not a fragrance I would rush out to get. I’m more into the darker scents so I will stick to Bulls Blood for now even thous Falling Into The Sea smells nice. It’s a great composition of citrus notes like grapefruit, lemon and bergamot along with lychee fruit notes along with exotic tropical flower note and warm sand.
Falling Into The Sea is a unique fresh scent. Check it out from Imaginary Authors.
Why I’m Getting Rid Of My Bergamotto Marino by Gianfranco Ferre
Oh yeah! Simply put it sucks in performance! I can use a 10 dollar cologne called 4711 for the performance I get because they are comparable. Also I don’t care for the melony salty marine or aquatic accord in this fragrance. So this is the reason I’m getting rid of Bergamotto Marino.
So you tell me! Did I screw up? I think I did good. There are a lot of other fragrances in the same category that perform much better. Try Mugler Cologne by Thierry Mugler or 4711 by Mäurer & Wirtz. If you double the price you can even bump up to Eau d’Hadrien by Annick Goutal for a real nice sharp citrus scent perfect for hot humid weather!!
This is my Dior Homme Eau Fragrance Review. I was very excited about this new fragrance release called Dior Homme Eau by Christian Dior. Since I had just discovered Dior Homme Intense and fell in love with it instantly I had to try and perhaps purchase Dior Homme Eau. Macy’s is marketing the heck out of Dior Homme Eau and each time I entered Macy’s I was approached by the sales associates to try the new Dior Homme Eau. Mind you I don’t shop at Macy’s that frequently but I go in because I use the USPS inside the Macy’s here in San Francisco.
I tried Dior Homme Eau at Macy’s and thought this is pretty similar to Dior Homme Intense which I own or even perhaps a bit more like Dior Homme which I have smelled but do not own. I decided to go ahead and do a purchase of Dior Homme Eau. Unfortunately once I started wearing it I started noticing marine or sea notes come through with this fragrance. And I’m not really a big fan of marine or sea notes in fragrances. The good thing is Dior Homme Eau comes off like a watered down version of the Dior Homme Intense that I have. And every so often you do get those marine notes but the disappointing thing about Dior Homme Eau is that it dries down to a boring everyday average fragrance that you can pick up for cheap at the drugstore. Nothing to write home about here it’s plan Jane. If you have a chance to sniff out the whole line from Dior of the Dior Hommes do so if this is the only Dior Homme flanker you can get then this might do you just fine but I think Dior Homme Intense is the king of the Dior Homme’s in my opinion. The drydown in Dior Homme Eau loses all the iris and becomes this boring old generic fragrance that you can find in a lot of boring generic fragrances. This is nothing to write home about and is a disappointment! 🙁
Prada Amber Pour Homme VS Prada Amber Pour Homme Intense
Prada Amber Pour Homme Intense was the fragrance I purchased first then I fell more in love with Prada Amber Pour Homme Intense so I researched Prada Amber Pour Homme and fell in love with both. They both have similarities except that the notes have been reversed on the Intense. In other words some of the notes that were not so dominant in Prada Amber Pour Homme are no much more dominant in Prada Amber Pour Homme Intense.
Prada Amber Pour Homme is a perfect everyday and work scent. It’s clean, powdery and soapy and perfect for smelling great everyday without turning people off or overpowering your fragrances around folks. What I’ve been doing is spraying the Prada Amber Pour Homme during the day and at night I spray the Prada Amber Pour Homme Intense for more intensity. In Prada Amber Pour Homme Intense I get more of a patchouli dominant fragrance which I absolutely love.
I was pleasantly surprised with Jo Malone’s Earl Grey & Cucumber cologne. I’m not the type that loves a lot of aquatic type fragrances but this Earl Grey & Cucumber is a winner for me from the Jo Malone brand.
The tea notes, the cucumber and water notes all work perfectly here in Jo Malone Earl Grey & Cucumber. This is a fragrance to wear during the warm months as it has a very refreshing and cooling effect during the warm months. I’ve been a fan of Jo Malone for a while now but lately have not been too excited about the fragrances but this Earl Grey & Cucumber from the Jo Malone Tea Collection is a solid release. This was released in 2011 then shelved then re-released again. If you haven’t smelled Jo Malone Earl Grey and Cucumber I suggest get your nose on it. It smells excellent!
Tom Ford’s White Patchouli is one of those masculine women’s targeted fragrances that can be worn by men. It’s a patchouli dominant fragrance with lots of white floral notes. Men don’t be afraid of White Patchouli. I bought it on first sniff at the department store and I wasn’t even aware it was targeted to women. It’s warm and spicy with a heavy dose of patchouli and white flowers with hints of rose and coriander and some woodsy notes. Tom Ford White Patchouli is a pretty potent fragrance and does last all day.
Give Tom Ford White Patchouli a try next time you are in a department store and I would say you will be pleasantly surprised at how great it smells. If you are at all a fan of patchouli you will enjoy wearing White Patchouli by Tom Ford.
Bois 1920 Sushi Imperiale is the holidays in a bottle. It’s a very comforting, relaxing fragrance with a dominant note of cinnamon! At times I get a very apple pie type of a vibe and at other times I get an apple cider type of a vibe so apple is king with this one. It smells excellent and perfect for fall and winter.
Just imagine wearing this excellent gourmand like fragrance for Thanksgiving or Christmas dinners and smelling great. People around will get a whiff of your scent and be wondering what it is! If you haven’t smelled Sushi Imperiale yet do so soon. You’ll fall in love with this smooth, relaxing somewhat boozy fragrance.
Sushi Imperiale is my first Bois 1920 fragrance and I’m hooked now and want to explore more from this brand.
