WOW! What an excellent oud fragrance Perris Monte Carlo Oud Imperial is. It smells excellent. This is not a skanky oud although it does have an old musty, church/library type smell but it smells great. it’s big on the woods here and blackwood is the dominant wood note next to the oud so there’s a big earthy thing happening with Oud Imperial. Those of you oud lovers if you haven’t smelled Oud Imperial do so as it’s great. Big and potent. This Oud Imperial is on my to buy list in the near future, perhaps in the fall when the weather turns to cold again.
I would really love to explore Perris Monte Carlo more as I’m currently impressed with Oud Imperial. I tried Rose de Taif which I wasn’t blown away by but will have to try again in the near future as well as their other fragrances like Bois d‘Oud, Musk Extreme, Essence de Patchouli and Ambre Gris. Check out the Perris Monte Carlo house if you get a chance. You might end up liking something! 🙂

Parfums De Marly Herod Unboxing and First Impressions
This is just a quick video showing the Parfums de Marly Herod unboxing. With a surprise gift from Parfums de Marly. I was’t expecting that gift and it’s quite unusual to receive a gift like that from a perfume brand!!
Herod is quite an awesome scent. Tobacco is becoming one of my favorite notes as of late and Herod has totally blown me away with how great it smells. It’s one of the best tobacco dominant colognes/fragrances that I’ve ever put my nose to. It smells great. Parfums de Marly can easily be one of the best tobacco dominant scents ever. Believe me it’s quite amazing!!
I’m curious now to try more from Parfums de Marly as I’m blown away by Herod. This is of course Olivier Pesheux who is known for a lot of Diptyque fragrances and of course the infamous One Million by Paco Rabanne.
Imaginary Authors Memoirs Of A Trespasser Fragrance Review
Memoirs Of A Trespasser is nother great fragrance from the Imaginary Authors collection of indie fragrances created by Josh Meyer. This a masculine vanilla fragrance that a man can pull off. It’s a big, bold, woodsy, earthy vanilla. It has slight touches of booziness which I love.
Memoirs Of A Trespasser author is Philip Sava again who also wrote Cape Heartache. The two fragrance compliment each if you think about it. They are both utilizing woods and earth for the notes.
I’m very impressed with Imaginary Authors and can’t wait to go through the rest of the collection of fragrances in the catalog of it’s fragrances.
Yves Saint Laurent M7 and M7 Oud Absolou First Impressions Review
I finally got to experience the infamous M7 by Yves Saint Laurent. This fragrance was composed by the two noses – Jacques Cavallier and Alberto Morillas with Tom Ford as creative director during his short lived career at YSL while Yves was still alive.
My first impressions of M7 is an excellent Oriental woody fragrance that I loved. It’s a shame that M7 by YSL is discontinued. Although it’s still around and still obtainable for around 200 dollars it’s unfortunate it’s discontinued. M7 has also been reformulated and rereleased recently and available. It’s a great fragrance as M7 Oud Absolu I think the original M7 is the superior scent.
I’m grateful I got to experience M7 finally and will think hard if I want to go ahead and shell out 200 dollars for a bottle of M7. If I’m desperate I’ll do it otherwise I’ll add a bottle of M7 Oud Absolu in my collection! Thanks for watching!
This is a complete blind first impressions of Urban Legend by Sebastiane fragrances. I was excited about this fragrance especially since it has orange blossom and ginger. But out of the three fragrances from Sebastiane Perfumes so far this is my least favorite. For some reason the notes didn’t work well for me but who knows this would work much better with someone else.
I’m usually a huge fan of anything orange blossom and I generally love anything with ginger but for some reason these notes along with the vanilla note didn’t work very well with me. It’s a good scent but you don’t end up loving everything you smell and this is one of them. Urban Legend also has a very classic vibe as well. Came off a bit like an older fragrance perhaps the name has something to do with it? Who knows but if you like the notes in this perhaps you should check out Urban Legend by Sebastiane.
Some of my favorite orange blossom and ginger scents are at the link below.
I chose to review Immortal Meadow second from Sebastian’es fragrances because I liked the notes the most just after Espresso Royale. The notes for Espresso Royale seemed the most exciting to me and I chose to review that first. But Immortal Meadow is all about fruity grass notes fragrance. The fruity notes come from the blackberry in the fragrance. It does start off fruitier and as it dries down it becomes less and less fruity. I like it less fruity as I am not much of a fruity fragrance lover or fan.
I am quickly reminded of Paul Smith for me upon initial spray before it becomes fruity. I enjoyed wearing Paul Smith for men as it was all about green grass a very groundbreaking scent to me when I first bought it. Now I wear Bond No. 9’s High Line and I do love that one. And Immortal Meadow is one I would add to my collection if I want another grassy scent.
This is my Cartier Declaration d’Un Soir Fragrance Review! It’s a beautiful masculine rose scent with spices and freshness. I like this so much the rose is there but it’s not overpowering it’s light but not weak.
If you’ve thought about Cartier Declaration d’Un Soir then don’t think twice do check it out as you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the quality and how great it is. If you like Roadster think it with roses added. That’s how I feel Cartier Declaration d’Un Soir is. The DNA of Cartier fragrances is in Cartier Declaration d’Un Soir. I’m loving Cartier Declaration d’Un Soir! 🙂
Tom Ford’s White Patchouli is one of those masculine women’s targeted fragrances that can be worn by men. It’s a patchouli dominant fragrance with lots of white floral notes. Men don’t be afraid of White Patchouli. I bought it on first sniff at the department store and I wasn’t even aware it was targeted to women. It’s warm and spicy with a heavy dose of patchouli and white flowers with hints of rose and coriander and some woodsy notes. Tom Ford White Patchouli is a pretty potent fragrance and does last all day.
Give Tom Ford White Patchouli a try next time you are in a department store and I would say you will be pleasantly surprised at how great it smells. If you are at all a fan of patchouli you will enjoy wearing White Patchouli by Tom Ford.
