Narciso Rodriguez For Him by Narciso Rodriguez EDT Spray

Narciso Rodriguez For Him by Narciso Rodriguez Review

Hey everyone, it’s Sebastian with manlovescologne.com. I’ve got another great fragrance review for you today, so hang on tight, and here we go. Today, I want to review this excellent cologne by Narciso Rodriguez, it’s basically just called Narciso Rodriguez For Him. The nose behind this fragrance is Francis Kurkdjian, it’s definitely an evening cologne. It’s very powerful, very strong, and it’s got major longevity, so for those of you that are turned off by really really strong fragrances, this is probably not going to be for you. How did I discover this cologne? I fly a lot, and I was at the Duty Free one day, and I decided to try it out, because I had heard about it, and I put it on, and I actually wore it on the flight, it was really really strong, and I think some people were giving me the looks, but anyway, this is a pretty strong cologne. Evening wear is definitely when I would wear it, it’s definitely for night time, clubbing, going out, you need a couple of sprays, and basically, that’s it. It’s going to overpower. What I like about this is, not the initial spray, but the dry down. Since it stays strong, when you put it on, you go on with your day, you come back, you do some stuff with your hands and you’re going to wash it, I actually really like what you get from after the cologne’s been sitting on your hands for a long time. It’s a very nice powdery, soapy, smell. I just love that part about this cologne. Even though it’s way too strong and powerful, you’re going to love it at the end of the day. It’s going to stay with you up until the end of the day, if you put it on in the morning, it’ll even go until the next day, and if you spray it on your clothes, you’re going to carry it with you if you don’t wash your clothes the next time you wear that same outfit, so it’s pretty powerful. So let’s try it out, and see where this fragrance goes. All you need is one spray, basically, unless you want to really be taking a shower with it.

So, basically what I get when I spray this on is basically lots of musk, and I get patchouli, but somewhere in there, I also get violet leaf, kind of a floral kind of a element to it. The notes in this fragrance are musk, amber, I do get a lot of amber, violet leaf, and patchouli, those are the main notes in this cologne. Basically, it’s For Him by Narciso Rodriguez. Right now, it’s kind of drying down, I’m experiencing the amber and the patchouli, but like I said, it’s going to go a long way if you wear one or two sprays. I think one will be enough; I do two, but not big sprays, kind of small sprays. So this fragrance was inspired by the big time Fougere fragrances of the eighties. I’m thinking that it reminds me of things like Halston, I’m not sure if that’s eighties, I think that’s probably seventies, things like Aramis, and anything along those lines, so I think this is kind of inspired by those eighties’ scents, so it might be a little strong for today’s noses, especially for the younger noses. I think it might be off-putting for them, as this is not a weak scent; it’s definitely a very powerful, powerful, fragrance.

So anyway, this is Narciso Rodriguez For Him, it’s a beautiful bottle, you don’t see any of the juice in it, it’s frosted, it almost looks like it’s gray, but it’s not, it’s kind of just covered up, made to look like you’ve got gray juice in it, but the bottles are beautiful, I think the women’s is similar but a different color, but the men’s is definitely a very minimalist design, strong cap on top, and silver squirter and glass. So yeah, basically this is it. Narciso Rodriguez For Him, try it out if you like the strong stuff.
