After 6 years from it’s release, Carolina Herrera CH Men is finally getting the hype it deserves. I hate to give in to the hype as well but as I’m traveling Spain I see Carolina Herrera fragrances all over the place even though Carolina Herrera is not Spanish but Venezuelan background with a fashion business based out of New York City. The Carolina Herrera fragrances are licensed through PUIG a Spanish based company which releases fragrances!
I bought CH Men because it’s actually a great scent and one I had not gotten my nose on prior to this trip. It’s a nice sugar dominant leather and vanilla scent with hints of Violet. I loved it but it’s not anything extra special. It’s a great scent but something very accessible and pleasant. Could actually be an everyday scent something you can wear most every day, for work and situations like that but it’d not something that’s going to blow your mind!

I have finally gotten my nose on Dior Homme Parfum and man what a fragrance Dior Homme Parfum is! It’s unbelievably beautiful, intense and very sexy stuff. One of the sexiest fragrances I have put my nose on. The creamy, chocolatey cacao notes that’s in Dior Homme Intense has been intensified to make it very delicious. In addition the leather notes is quite big here too. Almost a slight bit animalic. Don’t be turned off though as it’s not a gross or bad animalic note. It’s still very very sexy.
If you’re a fan of DHI then you will really love Dior Homme Parfum. One of the best releases of 2014 in my book. Niche or designer. Get this stuff now!!!
Christian Dior Leather Oud Review With Special Guest Coco!!
Christian Dior Leather Oud is a very challenging fragrance to wear. Every time I have someone smell it they react to it very interestingly. So I decided to get my friend Coco on camera to experience the wonderful and very challenging perfume Leather Oud by Christian Dior. Watch to see how Coco reacts to Christian Dior’s Leather Oud.
I myself rarely pull for Leather Oud anymore. My nose appreciates animalic scents but I find it very very difficult to wear Leather Oud. I usually prefer scents that are pleasant and I really do appreciate Leather Oud but as mentioned find it very difficult to wear.
Like a pendulum swinging my nose will appreciate it again sometime soon and sooner than later I will pull for the big boy Leather Oud to wear. But for now it’s always fun to watch how people react to Christian Dior’s Leather Oud from the Privee Collection of perfumes!!!

Bond No 9. Coney Island Review … Worst Fragrance I Have Ever Smelled!
There aren’t a lot of fragrances that I hate. I especially love Bond No. 9 as a brand and may of their fragrances I wear and enjoy a lot and wear them on a regular basis including things like New Haarlem, West Side, Eau de New York, New York Oud, High Line and more. But unfortunately I cannot stand the much loved fragrance Coney Island. I don’t know what it is about Bond No 9. Coney Island but it really does rub me the wrong way. As soon as it touches my skin I am in rotten egg heaven after Easter holiday with a really strong rotten egg odor.
Crazy stuff but the combo of notes in Coney Island is some of the worst I think. I really think though what’s causing the stinky rotten egg accord in this fragrance is the big dominant melon note. Melon and fragrances do not go well together for me. And usually it comes off like seaweed or something eggy or rotten stinky to me and that’s what’s causing it in this fragrance Coney Island to react with me like that. Almost like sulfur or sulfuric!. Gross stuff.
So this is the very last time I’m putting my nose on Coney Island because I just can’t stand it.

Winter is upon us and this list should get you started in selecting and choosing the Designer fragrances to wear this winter season, 2014/2015. This is my Top 10 Designer Fragrances For Winter 2014/2015! Every single brand in this list is a designer of some kind with one exception of course as this exception can fall into a designer or other categories.
The fragrances in this Top 10 Designer Fragrances For Winter list are all potent and big fragrances and should last excellently in the winter chill. Some of the fragrances here should even last as long as 24 hours sometimes as they are pretty potent. And in the winter months you are going to need the more potent, beefy and longer lasting perfumes, fragrances and colognes to get you through the winter months.

This is a quick video detailing my upcoming trip to France and Spain. I try and do an annual almost month long trip and this time I’m visiting Spain half the time and France the rest of the time. I want to really explore fragrances from Spain and see what they all have there so that I can bring back things that I can’t get here. Also want to try the new Dior Homme Parfum that has had a lot of word of mouth about.
I try and combine my trip with lots of fragrance shopping as I really enjoy fragrances if you haven’t already learned that about me. In France I will stop into any perfume shops I can visit and when I end up in Paris I will want to visit the By Kilian Shop I found out about. I want to visit the Maison Francis Kurkdjian shop. The Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier shop. Lubin shop. L`Artisan Parfumeur shop. Caron shop and various others. I want to find the rare perfumes I can’t get here.

Thierry Mugler Mugler Pure Havane vs Reyane Insurrection 2 Wild
I have really been enjoying Reyane’s Insurrection series of fragrances lately. First there was Insurrection 2 Pure by Reyanne the Aventus Killer. Then there was Insurrection 2 Dark which smelled like Spicebomb and now there is Insurrection 2 Wild which smells like Pure Havane. I mean Insurrection 2 Wild smells so much like Pure Havane I’m baffled at how close they are. The issue is if you compare the two together side by side you will notice some differences. Especially when you first spray Insurrection Wild but once it dries down they both become very very similar and you can’t really tell them apart.
This is really great because those of you that have been wanting a bottle of Pure Havane and have not bought it because it happened to be too expensive or just didn’t want to spend that kind of money then it’s time has come. Because Insurrection 2 Wild can be purchases for under 25 dollars. Whereas Pure Havane is suggested retail for almost a hundred dollars but it can be purchased for around the 75 dollar but still a good $50 dollar savings if you end up with Insurrection 2 Wild instead of the real thing.
Check out Insurrection 2 Wild. You’ll see it is very very close to Pure Havane. And if you don’t compare the two you’ll even think you are wearing Pure Havane. Performance was pretty darn great too!!

Tauer Perfumes Collection First Impressions Review @ Tigerlily Perfumery
It was so much fun to visit Antonia at Tigerlily Perfumery here in San Francisco. We sniffed the entire line of Tauer Perfumes that she carries. Mind you this is the entire Tauer Perfumes collection but only some of the best of the line. Unfortunately, PHI Rose De Kandahar was not available at this time so a video for that fragrance will be up soon!
We sniff out Cologne Du Maghreb, Zeta, Carillon Pour Un Ange, Orange Star, Incense Extreme, Incense Rose, L’Air Du Dessert Marocain and Lonestar Memories. Lot’s awesome Tauer Perfumes that are worth owning.

I couldn’t resist. This fragrance I picked up recently was one of the worst reformulations. The original fragrance was excellent and I really enjoyed wearing it in the early to mid 90s but what we have here now is a really bad watered down reformulation of a fragrance. I wouldn’t spend 1 dollar and my precious time in ordering this fragrance again.
Valentino Uomo vs Dior Homme Vs Dior Homme Intense
This is the video where I compare Valentino Uomo with Dior Homme and Dior Homme Intense. I just wish I had Dior Homme Parfum to compare these too but that will be a video in 2015 but for now find out what I think of Valentino Uomo comparing to Dior Homme and Dior Homme Intense.
